Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? Are you ambitious and make them rigorous and quantifiable? Or do you make them wishy-washy and vague so that success is a matter of opinion rather than evidence?
Or do you avoid making of New Year’s resolutions – yet still feel somewhat guilty for not giving some thought to what was (in 2013) and what you hope will be (in 2014)? If so, I encourage you to read this thoughtful piece by Andy Wood at LifeVesting. It’s ‘one’ really great idea!

Progress not perfection - that's my goal. Live and learn - that's my motto. I like to share bits of wisdom and glimmers of insight gleaned on my life journey of 50+ years.
My hope is to encourage, perhaps inspire, fellow journeyers. Each of us has something to share. Let's be generous, gracious and compassionate with one another. I am blessed to be a blessing... so are you!
Lovely spirit here. I hope your year is off to a happy start, Vera. Thank you for shooting hopehonorandhappiness.com over to my Smarts…the Myth of Self-Esteem post. She and I are enjoying the exchange.

Glad to hear it Diana. It’s fun to be able to introduce bloggers to each other. I’m feeling peaceful at the start of this year – which is unusual for me as I tend to be a worry-wart. But Christmas was lovely and that helped ease the way. Blessings to you in 2014!
